Local artist Mary Lou Diekmann to display works at Saluda Library

SALUDA—Works by local artist Mary Lou Diekmann will be on display at Saluda Library from June 7 to July 17. Mary Lou will be on hand to discuss her work at an artist reception on Thursday, June 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
Mary Lou Diekmann of Tryon creates abstract, landscape, and portrait paintings. Her portraits include traditional commissioned work of humans and animals as well as “vacation portraits,” which capture people in more natural poses. She also makes multi-media works incorporating stones, metal, fabric, photos, and anything she finds interesting. Learn more and view some of her works at www.maryloudiekmann.com.
