Landrum–Lillie Magdalene Trammel Bradey, 93, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Upstate Hospice House in Landrum, SC. Born in Woodruff SC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie J. and Maggie Phillips Trammel and the devoted wife of the late William “Bill” Bradey for 60 years.  

She was a graduate of Woodruff High School, North Greenville Junior College, and Winthrop College. An educator for more than 40 years, she taught in both North Carolina and South Carolina.  Most of her career was spent teaching 1st and 2nd graders at Green Creek Elementary School in Polk County NC.  

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Petty Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:30 am, Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at First Baptist Church Landrum conducted by Rev. Mark Bishop. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
