Acquires ownership of Workshop Theater
TRYON—After 75 glorious years of doing vagabond theater, Tryon Little Theater recently announced that it has acquired a permanent home. On March 20, papers were signed to acquire ownership of the building it has rented for 19 years, located at 516 South Trade Street in Tryon.
“The board of directors is grateful to previous owner Tom Cline for working with us to make this dream a reality,” says TLT Board President Mark Sawyer. “We have looked and dreamed and talked about this for a long, long time.”
Sawyer says he and his team are excited about what lies ahead.
“Now we can roll up our sleeves and get to work on turning this place into the venue our patrons deserve. Keep an eye out for our upcoming capital campaign and some fabulous events,” he says.
