The Venue at Ballenger Bridge to hold open house on April 22
LANDRUM—The Venue at Ballenger Bridge has opened its doors to the public and is now taking reservations for wedding receptions and other events.
The newest event and wedding reception site in Landrum is owned by Alan and Jennifer Zordan, who purchased the property in 2022. The Venue at Ballenger Bridge is situated on a private 50-acre property that features a covered bridge, an octagon pavilion, several water features including a river that meanders through the acreage and a stunning view of Glassy Mountain.
The venue has already booked numerous weddings and a dance. Those who book the venue can use it from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and can enjoy an Airbnb that sleeps up to six for overnight stays. The venue is pet-friendly and has ample parking. The pavilion is set up for a DJ or band and still has plenty of room for tables and dancing.
“It is so much more than just a venue,” says Jennifer.
In addition to the 3,200-square-foot pavilion, those who book the venue have full access to its director and grounds, which include a 600-square-foot covered bridge, a custom-built eight-foot mobile bar and plenty of space for engagement and wedding photos, among other amenities.
The Venue at Ballenger Bridge also has a bridal suite with hair and makeup chairs and a powder room, as well as gentlemen’s quarters with a private lounge. Additionally, there is an onsite florist and a curated list of recommended vendors.
“Join us on April 22 between 4 and 7 p.m. for our open house,” says Jennifer. “Tour the grounds, walk along the river, stand at the bank of the large pond, enjoy the gazebo, swing on the swings and tour the property.”
The Venue at Ballenger Bridge is located at 136 Old Ballenger Rd. In Landrum. Spots for the open house can be reserved at ballengerbridge.com.
