SALUDA–Works by local artist Julie Arrington are on display at Saluda Library now through mid-April. She will discuss her work at an artist reception at the library on Friday, March 15, from 2 to 4 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
Arrington has called Saluda home for over 40 years. Inspired by her love of nature and gardening, she uses natural flora in her one-of-a-kind creations. Rustic wood, dried mushrooms, mosses and recycled rusty tin are just a few of the supplies used to create Julie’s unique birdhouses, fairy dwellings, dried floral wreaths and pine knot angels. Special orders can be created by request.
