Mooresville man arrested on drug, stolen gun charges in Sunny View

SUNNY VIEW—A Mooresville man was arrested over the weekend after law enforcement found narcotics and stolen firearms in his vehicle during a stop for a speeding violation.
The driver, Ryan Dior, 26, was arrested on Saturday, March 2, when deputies with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office located drugs, stolen guns and currency during the stop on Hwy. 9 North, which is in the Sunny View area.
Officials say PCSO K9 deputy Joker was deployed, aiding the deputies in locating the drugs and weapons.
Dior was charged with possession with intent to sell/deliver narcotics, maintaining a place for the sale of narcotics, possession of stolen firearms, carrying a concealed weapon and felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He was booked into the Polk County Detention Center under a $30,000 secure bond.
Dior’s initial district court date was set for March 6.
