Columbus— Robert “Bobby” Franklin Ormond, 87, of Columbus passed away February 12, 2024 at Valley Hill Health and Rehab in Hendersonville.  He was the son of the late Roger and Helen Ormand Foster.

Bobby was in the United States Air Force and worked as an electrician with Ivey Electric until he retired.

Bobby is survived by two brothers, Walt Foster of Landrum, George Foster of Columbus; a sister, Shirley Tucker of Landrum; a grandson and several nephews and nieces.  He was predeceased by a son, Robbie Ormond.
