In Polk County District Court on January 24, 2024, with Judge Abe Hudson presiding, 121 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.     

 

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Jasmine Bennick was convicted of having no operator’s license. Bennick was fined $10 plus court costs.

 

Broderick Cash was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Cash was fined $102 plus court costs. 

 

Edison Celaj was convicted of a designated lane violation. Celaj was fined $25 plus court costs.

 

Ryan Alexander Dior was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ oz. Dior was fined $30 plus court costs.

 

Bryan Garcia-Osorio was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Garcia-Osorio was fined $102 plus court costs.

 

Celia Elise Hargraves was convicted of driving after consuming alcohol under the age of 21. Hargraves was sentenced to 15 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation, and must perform 12 hours of community service. 

 

Catherine Hennessey was convicted of driving while impaired. Hennessey was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Hennessey must also complete a substance abuse treatment assessment, perform 12 hours of community service and was fined $50 plus court costs.

 

Tyler Hensley was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Hensley was sentenced to 25 days in jail, with 25 days credit time served. Hensley was also ordered to pay jail fees and court costs.

 

Deanna Rosa Hughes was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Hughes was sentenced to 7 to 18 months in jail, suspended for 18 months of supervised probation. Hughes must also complete a substance abuse assessment, perform 24 hours of community service and ordered to pay fined court costs. 

 

Michael Johanneck was convicted of driving while impaired. Johanneck was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Johanneck must also complete 24 hours of community service, complete a substance abuse assessment and ordered to pay court costs. 

 

Samantha Rene Landers was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Landers was sentenced to one day in jail, with one day credit time served. 

 

Travis Jerome Lloyd was convicted of a designated lane violation. Lloyd was fined $25 plus court costs.

 

Cody Tucker Lowe was convicted of driving while impaired. Lower was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Lowe must also complete 24 hours of community service and was fined $50 plus court costs. 

 

Liberty Posigian was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Posigian was fined $25 plus court costs.

 

Mauricio Rodriguez was convicted of driving while impaired. Rodriguez was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Rodriguez must also perform 24 hours of community service, complete a substance abuse assessment and was fined $50 plus court costs.

 

Benitez Salomon Jr. was convicted of a designated lane violation. Salomon Jr. was fined $25 plus court costs.

 

Luis Suarez was convicted of a designated lane violation. Suarez was fined $25 plus court costs. 

 

Chad Taylor was convicted of driving without a license. Taylor was fined $25 plus court costs.
