FAVOR Upstate to present information on free recovery services
CAMPOBELLO—The Town of Campobello will be hosting a Hope and Healing Tour event at the Campobello Fire Department in conjunction with FAVOR Upstate, a Greenville-based organization that provides free addiction recovery services to individuals and family members suffering from substance use disorders.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 23 at 6 p.m., in the training room of the Campobello Fire Department, located at 50 Broad St.
FAVOR Upstate (Faces and Voices of Recovery) has recovery centers in Spartanburg, Greenville, Anderson and Oconee counties and offers support to individuals in recovery and their families.
“If you are an addict or are recovering from substance use disorder, or know of someone who is, this meeting will benefit you,” said event organizer Allison Sprouse. “Even if you just want more information about recovery services in our community, please come.”
Individuals and families who’ve been affected by substance abuse have been on the rise across the nation, including right here at home.
“The war on drugs is real and we are committed to helping those who are affected by them,” Sprouse said. “There is hope. FAVOR is wonderful about coming to you, meeting you where you are, and helping.”
