TRYON—Foothills Financial Group, Inc., a retirement planning company, recently moved its offices from Landrum to a newly renovated location at 98 Pacolet St. in Tryon. 

The company, run by Roland and Lynnea Stadlemann, specializes in sustainable income streams for retirees and offers various services, including financial planning, retirement plans, tax plans and insurance. Their former offices were at 920 E. Rutherford St. in Landrum. 

Roland, a master registered financial consultant originally from Switzerland, has been in the financial services industry for 20 years, while Lynnea manages the office and is also a notary public. The company has clients from all over the country and locally, and they still get the occasional walk-in to see what they offer. 

“Everything we do has to do with sustainable income streams for retirees or those looking to retire,” says Roland. “We spent twenty years in Landrum but felt it was time for a change. Lynnea found this office, which had been recently completely renovated and we made the move in September.”

The Stadlemanns have lived in the area for over 29 years and are active in the Kiwanis Club, with Roland scheduled to give a speech on the Saluda Grade at this week’s meeting. Lynnea enjoys showing dogs, including her award-winning Pekingese, and Roland is a model train enthusiast who enjoys building layouts.
