Chelsea— Therese Ann Smoke of Chelsea, Michigan, formerly Allen Park, Dearborn, Adrian, Tryon, NC, and White Lake, age 89, passed away in Chelsea, MI on Dec. 11, 2023.  Survived by three children: Mary Therese (Gary) Pilarski; Anne Marie (Bailey Matsuda) Smoke; and Rick (Amy) Smoke; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and eight nieces and nephews.  Her beloved husband, Henry R. Smoke, Jr., preceded her in death in 2021.  Therese was a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.  She cherished her family and any time or adventure shared with them.  Generous of heart, Therese was a devoted friend and adopted “mom” to many, always available and ready to help anyone in need. She was a devout Catholic, volunteered for the American Red Cross, and tutored school children at a local elementary school. A Funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. on Sat., Dec. 16, 2023, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins Road, White Lake, MI 48386. A rosary will be led at 10 a.m. at the church.
