Holy Cross Episcopal Church’s first Bach’s Lunch – Advent Series will be held on Wednesday, December 6 at noon.  

Josh Farrier, tenor, and organist Brennan Szafron are collaborating to perform the complete biblical songs of Antonin Dvorak. These wonderful pieces are short settings of texts of the bible. Written originally in Czech, Josh will be singing them in English to bring the texts to life.

On Wednesday, December 13, Trio Amies (flute trio) featuring Rhea Jacobus, Sally Frick and Joy Sears will be featured. Debbie Thompson, soprano, and pianist Jeanette Shackleford will perform on Wednesday, December 20.  

All programs are at noon in the sanctuary and are free and open to the public. Holy Cross Episcopal Church is located at 150 Melrose Ave. in Tryon.
