TRYON—Gail Harris Crater, of Tryon, passed away on October 14, 2023, at age 81. Born Margaret Gail Harris on June 25, 1942, to Latha Albert Harris, Junior, and Alice Powell Edwards Harris, she is survived by her two sons Jeffrey Gordon Crater and Michael Alan Crater, and two grandsons, Samuel Bruce Crater and Derek Michael Crater. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Polk County EMS donation fund.
