COLUMBUS—The Discover Columbus Team is hosting the annual Wood Carvers, Whittlers & Wood Crafters Festival on Saturday, October 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

This family-friendly festival is scheduled to take place on the historic Antebellum Courthouse lawn and at the Columbus Farmer’s Market on Courthouse Street in downtown Columbus. 

The festival promises a unique fun-filled day with a growing variety of local and regional amateur and professional wood carvers, whittlers, turners, and wood crafters and showing, selling and giving demonstrations of a wide range of handmade woodcraft items. 

The rain date for the event is October 14.
