Philadelphia—Mr. Walter Joseph Moore transitioned to rest on May 20^th, 2023, at his home in Philadelphia, PA. Joe was a native of Tryon, NC, the fourth child of the late Ruth and Clark Moore.

Joe worked and retired from Temple University working as an educational instructor for students pursuing a career in medicine.

Walter Joseph Moore is survived by his sister Peggy Moore Dawson (Christopher) of Atlanta, GA, his brothers Garrett Moore of Philadelphia, PA, and Warren Moore (Kathy) of Raleigh, NC, his nieces and nephews, other relatives, and other friends.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 17^th, 2023 at the Green Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 2382 Coxe Road in Tryon, NC, at 1:00 pm.

Friends are welcome to join the family as we celebrate this loving and caring man.
