Rutherfordton– Edward Wayne Richards passed away at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Elma Richards, sister Diane Richards, and brother-in-law Charlie Lewis.

He is survived by daughter Jennifer (Ryan) Clancy, grandchildren Grayson Clancy, Meya Clancy and Jackson Clancy, nephew Chad Richards, his best friend and four-legged companion Bella, sister Kay (Barry) Gee, brother Phillip (Glenda) Richards, niece Tammy (J.J) Jackson, nephew Sheldon Lewis, nephew Brannon Richards, great niece Cavin Richards, great nephew Addy Richards and several great-great nieces and nephews.
