WNCSource recently announced that Bridgett Librado has been promoted to Early Head Start Program Services Manager.
Librado began her career with WNCSource in November 2016 when she started as a part-time Infant Support person. Librado worked at the Balfour Education Center and helped open WNCSource’s Flat Rock Children’s Center on the Blue Ridge Community College campus. During this time, she took advantage of WNCSource’s Education Assistance program and went back to school to earn an Associate’s, and later a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
Over the past 6 and a half years, Bridgett Librado has continued to move up WNCSource’s career ladder to serve as a Site Supervisor and Area Manager overseeing several childcare centers.
Librado credits WNCSource’s quality of services, professional development programs, staff resources and opportunity for career advancement that stands out above other public and private childcare programs.
“Our management team and staff are so supportive. It just feels like family,” she says.
WNCSource is currently seeking teachers and teacher trainees for their Head Start and NC Pre-K programs who want to go places in their careers. Visit wncsource.org for more information.
