Mill Spring—Larry Dean Waddell, Jr. age 51 of Mill Spring, NC passed away on April 29, 2023, at his home.
Born April 13, 1972, Larry was our “heaven’s very special child”. While he may not have looked or behaved as one typifies as normal, he was not shy, always a cheerful soul who was able to bring a smile and laughter to those he met. Larry enjoyed the company of family, friends, and strangers. He was a NASCAR fan and Dale Earnhardt was his favorite driver. He enjoyed the numerous visits to NASCAR team shops and attending autograph sessions with his dad, and regular trips to his favorite places in town.
Larry is survived by his parents, Larry D. and Kathy Waddell; sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Tim Ruff; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sheryl Herron; Nephews, Sean Herron (Yolanda) and Cody Ward (Riley); niece, Kedgren Ware; and grandnephew, Michael Herron.
Larry will be dearly missed but he has now been made whole, embraced by the angels and our lord in heaven.
