On Wednesday, May 24, digital marketing and business success coach Gary Heisey will lead a free workshop for Tryon-area businesses. The workshop will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Tryon Depot Room at 22 Depot Street in Tryon. The seminar is sponsored by Tryon Downtown Development Association.
All businesses and nonprofits are invited to attend, but are asked to RSVP at www.downtowntryon.org or by calling 828-817-5523.
The workshop will feature tips and strategies for businesses to make the most of digital marketing, Google listings and social media. Attendees will learn actionable, easy, and low-cost ways to make digital marketing work for their individual situations.
“Businesses follow one of two marketing strategies,” explained Gary Heisey. “You can search for people who may want what you sell, and convince them to try you. Or, you can make it easy for people who you want to sell to find your business. You’ll save money, time and energy with strategy two. This seminar will discuss how to make that happen.”
Seminar attendees will be eligible to sign up for additional, free resources and one-on-one coaching with Heisey.
Heisey has taught over 6,000 business seminars and helped over 1,000 companies with management advice, branding, marketing, social media, access to capital, and business planning. He has been recognized by the Small Business Association, SCORE, the National Association of Entrepreneurship, and was 2016 NC Community College Staff Person of the Year. He has served on the board of Mountain BizWorks and holds a Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurism.
