It’s that time of year once again when the community votes on their favorite businesses, professionals and restaurants in the Foothills!

The 2023 Favorites of the Foothills Readers Choice Awards kicks off this month. In order for your favorite restaurant, doctor’s office, coffee shop or teacher to be voted as a winner of Favorite of the Foothills Reader’s Choice Awards, they first need to be nominated by the readers. 

This is done through a nomination form that will soon be included in the Tryon Daily Bulletin and can also be filled out on our contests page at tryondailybulletin.com. Simply write in your Favorite of the Foothills in each category and those who are named the most move on to the next round. Remember, if your favorite isn’t nominated, they cannot win.

Nominations will be accepted between Sunday, May 21, and Sunday, June 4, as the first part of the competition, with the top five in each category advancing to the voting round.

Once the nomination round is complete, readers vote between the top five nominees in each category. The voting round will run from Sunday, June 25, through Sunday, July 9. Readers will be able to vote daily. The top three will be published in our September edition of Life in Our Foothills.
