TRYON – Organizers of Super Saturday recently announced three more acts for this year’s event. Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, Billy Jonas, and Paperhand Puppets will all perform shows at Super Saturday in Tryon on March 18.

Children’s Theatre of Charlotte will present “A Sick Day for Amos McGee,” based on the book by Philip C. Stead. In this heartwarming story about the joys of friendship, zookeeper Amos McGee knows friends can come in all sorts of species, too. A Sick Day for Amos McGee will be performed at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Join Billy Jonas and his soul-spelunking, heart-healing, wonder-filled journey of spirited music on the Tryon Movie Theater stage at 9:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. His music is accessible to everyone and sparks joy, connection, and community while fostering inspiration through rhythm, movement, homemade instruments, and song.

Paperhand brings its giant puppets and masks to the Holy Cross Episcopal stage at 9:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. to celebrate the fantastic creatures we share the Earth with. All ages can enjoy experiencing the engaging and exquisite puppet creations of this award-winning troupe.
