In partnership with Starbucks in Forest City, the organization Empowering Through Beauty, Inc hosted a Toy Drive. 

 

On Wednesday, December 21, Empowering Through Beauty Founder and CEO Tanisha Akinloye met with the staffs of the Department of Social Services in Polk County, the Department of Social Services in Spindale and Rutherfordton Children Care in Forest City to donate the toys to children who have an incarcerated parent, children who are in foster care, and children who are sick. 

 

Everyone was filled with gratitude to receive the gifts for the children. Empowering Through Beauty, Inc is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to serve those in need of physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.
