Landrum Market Pavilion kicks off the holiday season at winter farmers market

 

LANDRUM––The Winter Market and Holiday Craft Fair at Landrum Market Pavilion opens Saturday, November 5. Over the last few weeks, the market transitioned from its summer market to its first winter market in the brand-new pavilion building.

The Winter Market and Holiday Craft Fair had great support from vendors when the market was held on N. Trade Avenue last year, according to Lisa Gunter, Volunteer Manager of Landrum Farmers Market.

 
All 57 vendor spots at the holiday market are filled with those selling homemade crafts, baked goods, and fall produce such as sweet potatoes, beets, ginger, and other vegetables found this time of the year.

 
Gunter hopes to get Santa Claus to come to visit the kids during the holidays at the market, and she also hopes to soon include a Christmas tree vendor.

The Winter Market and Craft Fair will also be open on November 12 and 19, and on December 3, 10, and 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
