Social media and Isothermal Small Business Center to be topics of discussion

 

TRYON– Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce is set to hold their quarterly meeting on Thursday, November 10 at the Town of Tryon Depot located at 22 Depot Street in Tryon. The meeting will start at 8 a.m. with breakfast bites for attendees. Guest speakers will start their presentations at 8:30 a.m.

 

Two main topics are meant to serve as points of discussion for the meeting. The first topic will be how to successfully execute social media for marketing with Tracey Daniels, owner of Media Masters Publicity, to serve as a guest speaker. The second topic will be the Isothermal Small Business Center and what they have to offer when it comes to boosting your business. Faye Bishop, Director of the Isothermal Small Business Center, will be speaking on behalf of the small business center. 

 

Tracey Daniels is the founder and owner of Media Masters Publicity, a literary public relations firm located in Tryon that specializes in children’s books, parenting books, graphic novels, and more. Earning a bachelor’s degree in secondary english education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Daniels later earned a certificate in digital marketing, social media, and online public relations. She will be sharing with attendees the importance of using social media as a partner to successfully grow their businesses. 

 

Faye Bishop, Director of the Isothermal Small Business Center, will be sharing what her establishment has to offer when it comes to growing a business. The Small Business Center at Isothermal Community College is a community-based provider of education, training, counseling, information, and referral for those currently in business or who are seeking to start a new business. The objective of the Small Business Center is to increase the success rate and the number of small businesses in Polk and Rutherford counties.
