Tryon Arts & Crafts School invites collectors, thrifters, and bargain hunters to the School’s Yard Sale benefit. The sale takes place Friday, September 30, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, October 1, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The 2022 Yard Sale will be located immediately behind TACS’ main building in the ground-level facility at Harmon Field’s Open-Air Gym.
TACS welcomes gently used furniture, appliances, arts and crafts items and supplies, vintage collectibles, high-end boutique items, seasonal items, sports equipment, unique décor, linens, toys, musical instruments, garden items, and tools. Donations are accepted until the end of the day Thursday.
Yard Sale volunteers are given early bird access to the sale at 11:30 on Friday. To volunteer, contact fire0earth@hotmail.com.
The TACS member presale follows the volunteer early bird at 11:40. Memberships are available through TACS’ website, tryonartsandcrafts.org.
Posted signage will lead arriving guests to the rear parking lot, near the open-air gym. Eager shoppers are expected to line up outside on Friday morning to be part of the initial rush.
All proceeds of the sale will go toward the operations and art education programs of Tryon Arts and Crafts School, a nonprofit organization serving the extended Polk County area.
TACS’ main building – including offices, studios, gallery, and retail will be closed on both Friday and Saturday for the sale.
