In Polk County District Court on Aug. 3, 2022 with Judge Gene Johnson presiding, 133 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Richard Harold Adams was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired and misdemeanor marijuana possession. Adams was sentenced to 12 months supervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $90 fine and court costs.
Maicon Cardosogarcia was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Cardosogarcia was fined $25 and court costs.
Jose N. Carrillogomez was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Carrillogomez was fined $10 and court costs.
Charles C. Drake was convicted of possession of marijuana. Drake was sentenced to 12 months supervised probation, a $600 lab fee and court costs.
Brittany Renee Green was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Green was sentenced to 24 months probation.
Jairus Jerome Hamilton was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Hamilton was fined $10 and court costs.
Dorthea Hollifield was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Hollifield was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation.
Daniel E. Logan was convicted of communicating threats. Logan was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation.
Marco Antonio Martel was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Martel was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served.
Hazel Nicole Mcfarland was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Mcfarland was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation.
Donald Liddie Naylor was convicted of failure to appear on a misdemeanor. Naylor was sentenced to 2 days in jail with credit for time served.
Benjamin D. Schmoll was convicted of level 2 driving while impaired. Schmoll was sentenced to 12 months supervised probation, 7 days in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Brandon H. St-Martin was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. St0Martin was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs,
Casey Leann Whitt was convicted of felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and fictitious information to officer. Whitt was sentenced to 6 months supervised probation and 6 months unsupervised probation.
Micaela Suzanne Willet was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Willet was fined $50 and court costs.
