Crash on I-26 shuts down Monday evening traffic

One person taken to hospital after accident on Saluda Grade
SALUDA––Around 5:45 on Monday evening, Columbus Fire Department was dispatched to the Saluda Grade.
At mile marker 64 on I-26, there was a multi-vehicle accident, resulting in at least one injury, according to officials at Saluda Fire and Rescue.
Saluda Fire and Rescue officials shut down one lane of traffic for about 30 minutes while emergency responders worked on scene. One individual suffered an injury and was transported by ambulance to Spartanburg Regional.
Also on scene was Columbus Fire Department, Polk EMS, and Polk Rescue.
