Landrum Police Department working on closing case
LANDRUM––The car break-ins that have been occurring regularly since April 23 are still under investigation by the Landrum Police Department.
The larcenies have occurred on Redland Road at 5 different addresses, and at least four more addresses in Landrum. Other larcenies have taken place in Campobello and other Spartanburg County towns.
Video surveillance shows the suspects are driving a white car.
Police Chief Kris Ahler says the Landrum Police Department is working to close these cases. He was unable to comment further due to the investigations still being active.
Chief Ahler says, “We have increased patrols, and are cooperating with adjacent jurisdictions with similar and possibly related cases.”
LPD was able to recently disclose that they are investigating persons-of-interest in these ongoing cases.
