Dark Corner Squire, author and TDB columnist Dean Campbell will make a 2-hour guest appearance from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Campobello’s Family Fun Day festival on Saturday, May 7.

Physical complications following a 5-bypass surgery in April, 2020, along with pandemic restrictions, have prevented Campbell’s public appearances for two years. His being a 1951 graduate of the previous Campobello High School on the site prompted the special invitation.

He will be located at 27 Lude Johnson Blvd. at the intersection with Lanford Street.

This is the second annual Family Fun Day for the Upstate community, which will run from 10:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. at Gib Gosnell Park on Lanford Street. Over 85 vendors will offer food and other wares; an antique car and tractor exhibition for adults; and other activities for all members of the family will be featured. The public is invited.
