TRYON – Howard Marion Williams of Tryon passed away, Thursday morning, April 21, 2022, at White Oak Manor of Tryon.
A native of Polk County, he was the son of the late Stewart Williams and Minnie Walker Williams and husband of the late Elea Lindsey Williams who passed away in 2017. Mr. Williams was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was retired from Dupont after many years of service. Mr. Williams was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving is one son, Sam Williams (Debra) of Forest City; one daughter, Rhonda Williams Hudson of Hendersonville; one sister, Lorena Brown of Ohio; three grandsons, Jonathan, Joshua, and Seth; six great-grandchildren, Nathan, Silas, Vance, Levi, Micha, and Anna.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 24, 2022, in Polk Memorial Gardens with Dr. Ethan Brown officiating.
