A group of women from Eden Falls, Georgia, decide that it is time to change their lives and achieve their dreams. Sugar Lee Thompkins decides to convert an abandoned church into a day spa, with the help of her friends Carlene, Nita, Mavis and Crystal. The spa is called SPA-DEE-DAH. Comedic tension erupts when Sugar Lee’s high school boyfriend Bobby Dwayne Dillahunt shows up, and when her arch enemy, Bunny, vows to steal the abandoned church out from under Sugar Lee. “The Hallelujah Girls” is a southern comedy.

The cast includes actors Brenda Craig as Carlene Travis, Karen Workman as Nita Mooney, Lori Lee as Mavis Flowers, Tena Greene as Crystal Hart, Donna Everett as Sugar Lee Thompkins, Hollie Swofford as Bunny Sutherland, Tim Daniels as Bobby Dwayne Dillahunt, and James Powell as Porter Padgett.
