Wade Peeler swears into position after successful election in March
CAMPOBELLO––Campobello’s Town Council added a new member last week.
Wade Peeler, Campobello resident, was sworn into position as new council member at the town’s regular council meeting on April 4.
Early last month, Peeler ran unopposed during the special elections to elect new council members. Other cities involved in the election were Chesnee, Reidville, and Lyman. Peeler won the unexpired term for the town council seat with a total vote of 20.
Kim Hyder, Town Clerk, says, “He’s been a faithful town resident, and we feel like he’ll be an asset to the town with his services.”
