In Polk County District Court on Dec. 8, 2021, with Judge Gene Johnson presiding, 110 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Tiffany Shirley Carroll was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Carroll was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs.
David Ray Case was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Case was sentenced to 1 day in jail with credit for time served.
Yair Cruz-Rubio was convicted of level 4 driving while impaired. Cruz-Rubio was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $250 fine and court costs.
John Reginald Hamm was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Hamm was fined $40 and court costs.
Matthew Alan Hill was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Hill was fined $96 and court costs.
Noah Elijah Hill was convicted of carrying a concealed gun and driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Hill was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Paul Wallace Horne was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Horne was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $150 fine and court costs.
Noah Kelly Johnson was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Johnson was fined $40 and court costs.
Anna Elizabeth Lenoir was convicted of unsafe movement. Lenoir was to pay court costs.
Harrison C. Mackenzie was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Mackenzie was fined $40 and court costs.
Henry Timken Mather Jr. was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Mather was fined $40 and court costs.
William Randal Matson was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. Matson was sentenced to 3 days in jail with credit for time served.
Ashto E. McClure was convicted of no operators license. McClure was fined $50 and court costs.
Jennifer Lynne Reno was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Reno was sentenced to one year supervised probation, $600 in lab fees and court costs.
Jerry Lewis Toney was convicted of littering not greater than 15 lbs. and defacing a public building. Toney was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served.
Luis A. Torres-Florian was convicted of speeding 98 mph in a 65 mph zone. Torres-Florian was fined $98 and court costs.
Brian Kyle Warren was convicted of driving while license revoked-no impaired revocation. Warren was to pay court costs.
Annie Elizabeth Young was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Young was to pay court costs.
