In Polk County District Court on Dec. 1, 2021, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 122 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Cynthia M. Bracken was convicted of failure to appear. Bracken was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs.
Michial Rick Drake was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Drake was fined $40 and court costs.
Shawn Gary was convicted of assault on a female. Gary was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.
Erin Webber Hamrick was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Hamrick was fined $40 and court costs.
Justin Ross Manley was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Manley was fined $20 and court costs.
Samuel Enrique Munoz was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Munoz was fined $40 and court costs.
Verra V. Naraharisetti was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Naraharisetti was fined $50 and court costs.
Chanel Alice Young was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Young was fined $10 and court costs.
