Celebration of life planned for Saturday at the high school
LANDRUM—The District One School community is mourning the death of long-time teacher Jennifer Johnson.
Johnson, 48, died Monday.
The school district is holding a celebration of life at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Landrum High School auditorium.
Johnson was a biology teacher at Landrum High School. She began teaching at Campobello Gramling School in 2000.
She taught at Landrum High School for 19 years.
District One announced her passing this week saying it is with profound sadness that the district expresses its sincere condolences to the family of Johnson, a beloved teacher at Landrum High School.
“She impacted the lives of many students and colleagues throughout her years in Spartanburg One,” said District One’s announcement. “We continue to lift up the entire Johnson family and Landrum High School community during this difficult time.”
Johnson is survived by her husband and 2 sons. Her cause of death was not released.
