The annual Polk County Toy Run will be held on Saturday, Nov. 27. The motorcycles begin at the Saluda Fire Department at 11 a.m. with the parade beginning at 2 p.m. There will be door prizes, a 50/50 drawing, Santa Claus and a barbecue lunch provided with a donation of $10 or a new $10 toy. The parade ends at the Polk County Courthouse in Columbus around 3 p.m. where people can bring toys and donations. All toys and donations benefit Polk County children, which are distributed through the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Outreach, Steps to HOPE and Polk County Department of Social Services.
