Roastin’ on the Ridge is an annual event and fundraiser at the Foothills Equestrian Nature Center, FENCE. This year the event will take place on Saturday, November 27th from 12pm-4pm outdoors overlooking Hawk’s Ridge. Join us as we celebrate community and the season of giving all while enjoying a delicious oyster roast, chicken gumbo, drinks, good music, friends, and family.
This year’s event will feature music by local band The Basement Bunch. Spawned out of weekly jam sessions in Tryon, NC, the Basement Bunch has emerged as a band playing an eclectic mix of soulful songs. Drawn from genres such as rock, blues, R&B and soul, the music they play is familiar yet not overplayed. Consisting of Jim Peterman on keyboards & vocals, John Hovelsrud on guitar, Vinny Corda on flute, saxes, guitar & vocals, Mike Carruth on drums & vocals and Elaina Prevett on bass & mandolin, the Basement Bunch will rock your world.
Tickets can be purchased by calling 828-859-9021, emailing info@fence.org, or by visiting www.fence.org. Ticket proceeds go to support FENCE programs and events such as the Therapeutic Riding of Tryon program (TROT), youth and adult educational programs, summer camps, free family events and much more. FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road in Tryon, North Carolina.
