Beiler surpasses 2,000-yard career passing mark

Polk County quarterback Casey Beiler passed the 2,000-yard mark for career yardage during Friday’s playoff victory at Southwestern Randolph.
Beiler, a junior, threw for a career-high 237 yards in the Wolverines’ 29-14 victory in their 2A playoff opener.
That lifted his career total to 2,213 yards, with his total yardage for this season now at 1,301 yards. Beiler has completed 163-of-304 passes in his career with 24 touchdowns.
Polk County travels Friday to Shelby for a second-round matchup.
