In Polk County District Court on Oct. 27, 2021, with Judge Gene Johnson presiding, 195 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Richard Heath Abee was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Abee was fined $100 and court costs.
Lorissa Marie Berry was convicted of resisting a public officer. Berry was sentenced to 1 day in jail with credit for time served.
Megan Kathryn Blackwell was convicted of speeding 78 mph in a 55 mph zone. Blackwell was to pay court costs.
Justin Wayne Brown was convicted of domestic violence protective order violation. Brown was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for time served.
Andrew Thomas Corryn was convicted of resisting a public officer. Corryn was sentenced to 2 days in jail with credit for time served.
Jay Fletcher Fowler was convicted of failure to appear on a felony. Fowler was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for time served.
Breann Nichole Hayes was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Hayes was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $250 fine and court costs.
Saahil V. Madhiwala was convicted of reckless driving-wanton disregard. Madhiwala was fined $137 and court costs.
Kevin Christopher Manson was convicted of school attendance law violation. Manson was sentenced to 2 days in jail with credit for time served.
Patti Manson was convicted of school attendance law violation. Manson was sentenced to 2 days in jail with credit for time served.
Patrick O’Neal McGowan was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. McGowan was fined $100 and court costs.

Jessica Almarie Smith was convicted of speeding 102 mph in a 70 mph zone. Smith was fined $102 and court costs.
Dianne E. Toney was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Toney was sentenced to 3 days in jail with credit for time served.
Chloe Star Weimer was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Weimer was sentenced to 1 day in jail with credit for time served.
Philip Barrow Yantis was convicted of level 1 driving while impaired. Yantis was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, a $250 fine and court costs.
Haleigh Shelby Erwin was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Erwin was to pay court costs.
