In Polk County Superior Criminal Court Administrative session on Oct. 26, 2021, with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 148 cases were heard. Some cases were continued or dismissed.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Annette Marie Blackwell was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and fictitious information to officer. Blackwell was sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for time served.
Joseph Mitchell Case was convicted of possession of schedule II controlled substance. Case was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation and court costs.
Kyle Landon Cehen was convicted of probation violation out of county. Cehen was sentenced to 90 days in jail then probation will be terminated.
James Richard Helton was convicted of possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver a schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule III controlled substance, possession of a stolen firearm and attempted trafficking in methamphetamine. Helton was sentenced to 36 months supervised probation, 30 days in jail and court costs.
Jonathan Charles Moffitt was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Moffitt was sentenced to 12 months supervised probation and court costs.
