Polk County Sheriff’s Office plans strategic planning workshops
COLUMBUS—The Polk County Sheriff’s office is invited all residents to participate in upcoming strategic planning workshops.
The planning workshops will be for community and employee input for the sheriff’s office to develop priorities and goals for future operations.
The workshops will be based on internal and external surveys conducted over the past year.
The sheriff’s office recently ended a survey for residents regarding operations of the office to help develop a strategic plan.
“The men and women of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office are dedicated and work hard every day to provide the best possible law enforcement services and protection to our citizens, but we can’t grow as an organization without your input,” stated a press release sent by staff attorney and public information officer J.J. Sauve. “The office of the sheriff serves the people, and we want to hear from the people.”
The workshops will be held in the sheriff’s office training room. The sheriff’s office asks that people only attend one session each.
