Polk County Sheriff’s Office, emergency services locate woman Wednesday night
SALUDA—Local emergency service agencies found a missing tuber on Wednesday night.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office sent out an alert Wednesday for people to stay out of the Green River Cove area to allow emergency services to work to find a missing tuber.
The sheriff’s office sent out an alert saying the sheriff’s office, Saluda Fire & Rescue, Mill Spring Fire Department, Tryon Fire & Rescue, Columbus Fire & Rescue, Polk County Rescue and the Polk County Emergency Management were on scene in the Green River Cove area searching for a missing tuber.
“There is no danger to the public at this time, but emergency personnel request that citizens stay clear of the area to allow teams to work effectively,” said the sheriff’s office alert Wednesday evening.
The woman was described as having red hair and in her mid 20s, with tattoos and wearing a bikini.
The sheriff’s office said at 9:53 p.m. Wednesday that the missing tuber was located and was safe.
