Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court on May 24, 2021, with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 25 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Derek Tyler Ogden was convicted of injury to personal property. Ogden was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Jerry Roland Swink was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Swink was fined $40 and court costs.
In Polk County District Court at 9 a.m. on May 26, 2021, with Judge Kim Justice presiding, 88 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Joseph Alan Anderson was convicted of level 4 driving while impaired. Anderson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 48 hours in jail, a $500 fine and court costs.
McKenzie Hartwell Best was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Best was fined $100 and court costs.
Ruben Paul Caballero was convicted of a probation violation. Caballero was sentenced to 90 days in jail then probation will be terminated.
Tyler James Cook was convicted of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver methamphetamine and possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana. Cook was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation and court costs.
Steven Michael Davis was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Davis was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, $75 in restitution, a $100 fine and court costs.
Vergara Mac Guadrrama was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Guadrrama was fined $40 and court costs.
Jeremy Keith Hembree was convicted of possess of drug paraphernalia. Hembree was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.
Earl Daniel Logan was convicted of second-degree trespassing. Logan was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Connor Charles McLean was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. McLean was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.
John Even Therrell was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Therell was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.
