LANDRUM – James Walton “Jerry” Lawrence, Jr., 78, of Landrum passed away on March 20, 2021.  He was the son of the late James Walton Lawrence, Sr. and Leola Fulmer Lawrence and Dorris Lawrence.

 

He worked in the Newspaper printing industry and was a member of Rejoice Lutheran Church.  He is survived by his wife, Susan; two daughters, Jamie Morris (David) and Gina Walker (Greg); two sisters, Margaret Gibbs and Jimmie Gore; five grandchildren, Andrew Morris, Karolina Morris; Anna L. Chesnut; Sarah Rowland, Thomas Walker and Emma Simmons; and three great grandchildren.

 

He was predeceased by a daughter, Angela Marie Lawrence and a brother John Lawrence.

 

The family will receive friends from 4:00-4:30pm Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Petty Funeral Home.   A memorial service will follow at 4:30pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Jeff Valentine.
