COLUMBUS, NC – Carol Lynn Iglehart Mitchell, 621 Laurel Lake Dr., Columbus, NC died on September 6,

2020 at Tryon Estates, Columbus, NC. She was born in Cook, Illinois, daughter of John

1. Iglehart and Henrietta Halliday Iglehart. She attended Mac Murray College.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Frank Moffet Mitchell (April 13,

2020), she is survived by one brother, John Iglehart and wife Stephanie, a nephew, John

1. Iglehart, by step children, Marcy Perini and Stacy Seligman, and by step

grandchildren, Victoria Seligman, Patrick Seligman, Emily Seligman, Jonathan Perini,

and Christopher Perini, as well as many special friends at Tryon Estates and her beloved

dog, Reggie. As she requested, there will be no local service for her. Contributions in her

memory may be made to a favorite charity.
