LANDRUM, SC – Miss Rebeca passed away Wednesday night at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Inman, SC. Our beloved sister never met a stranger as she walked neighborhood streets, meeting all of her friends that looked out for her in Palatka, FL and in Landrum, SC. She had her illness that she was born with, but she never let it hold her back. She had a mind of her own that had telephone directories in it that kept every phone number anybody gave her, and that she could tell you at a moment’s notice faster than you could look it up. She loved mailing cards for all occasions, and calling the hundreds of people she always remembered all over the country. She loved her cats as much as her family. Now she’s taking her last walk to be with her mother and father, and Jesus Christ. Leaving behind her brothers, Frank Stevens English (Teresa), and Robert Parsons English (Deb) and her niece Brooke, as well as three uncles, two aunts, and nine cousins. She will always be in our hearts.
