Polk offering COVID-19 testing for those with or without symptoms

POLK COUNTY—Polk County is now offering expanded testing for COVID-19 for people with or without symptoms.

County officials announced the expanded testing on Monday.

The testing can be done by appointment only and will be available while supplies last.

Polk County began drive-through testing in April and as of Friday had tested 352 people throughout the county with 39 of those being at the drive-through service. Included in the testing of Polk County was over 100 St. Luke’s employees.
