On Wednesday, February 19, 2020, Chester C. Hudson, loving husband and father passed away surrounded by family in his home after a lengthy battle with FTD.
Chester was born July 1, 1949 to Annie Bell Pritchard Hudson and C.T. Hudson who both proceeded him in death. He was also proceeded in death by a sister, Betty Jean Black, and 2 brothers, Thomas Hudson and Troy Hudson.
He was survived by his wife Ginger Hudson, daughters Ivy Belle Hudson and Stephanie Hudson. A granddaughter Natalie Hudson and a great-granddaughter Paiden Hudson. He is also survived by siblings, Doris (Lewis) McDade, Larry (Brenda) Hudson, Patricia (Tim) McDaniel, Ben Hudson, Ray (Becky) Hudson, Wayne Hudson, Terry ( Marilyn) Hudson, Randy (Anita) Hudson, Robin (Richard) Smith, Tammy (Neil) Waldrop, and a large extended family.
Chester was an award winning stone mason owning and operating Hudson Rock Work from 1975-2015. He was a member of the Columbus, NC Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Memorial Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Saturday, February 22, 2020, at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, Chester asked that a donation be made in his honor to Jehovah’s Witnesses world wide witnessing work or to the Association of Frontotemporal Degeneration.
