There were more than 600 students in grades 4-6 who auditioned from across the state of South Carolina and only 200 of those with the highest scores were accepted.
The local students included Keilyn Wilson under the direction of Courtney Vance from Inman Intermediate and Lauren Winterrowd, Caroline Sims, Millie Atkins, Isa Jennings and Ella Gosnell, under the direction of Shannon Day from Campobello.
The students performed at Columbus First Baptist Church under the direction of the internationally recognized choral director Dr. Lynnel Jenkins.
