As a designated Playful City USA, the City of Saluda hosted its 7th Annual Saluda Play Day on Saturday, Sepctember 14 at Saluda Elementary School.

 

The event was a huge success with approximately 150 people in attendance, of which close to 100 were children from the Saluda community. Children of all ages enjoyed two hours of non-stop activities that included inflatable play stations, giant slip and slide, water activities, larger than life bubble station, crafts, a cakewalk and dancing with a DJ!

 

The first 75 kids received free t-shirts. Healthy refreshments were also provided by local businesses from local Saluda businesses. This free community event was made possible by a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation.
